WFJ: God is speaking today!

There’s a great movement of people who are learning to hear from God fresh every day, and who are not afraid to proclaim His living Word to the world! This is a day and age in which the Lord is inviting more people into a intimate personal relationship with Him, and there are those who are learning to recognize His voice when He speaks to them.

Thousands of years ago it was predicted by prophets of old (Joel 2:28), and then confirmed by the Apostles of Jesus, that: “In the Last Days I will pour out of My Spirit upon all flesh: your sons and your daughters shall prophesy … On my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy” (Acts 2:17,18).

This is the “sure word of prophecy, to which ye do well giving heed, as to a lamp shining in a dark place…” (2 Peter 1:19). Our God is a living God, One who truly loves His children, and He particularly loves to speak to us! He can speak to any one of us who love Him.

On October 17, 2009, I posted the following “Words From Jesus” in a message entitled:

“What I’m speaking today, just like what I spoke thousands of years ago, is still My Word, for time shall be no more! “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My word will not pass away” (Matthew 24:35)! It will last forever in the hearts of those who have ears to hear, and hearts to receive! Many will see that “My word is true” (Psalm 119:160) and will be touched! “The words that I speak to you” (John 6:63) will be recorded not only in your site, but in the journals and sites of others, and will spread all over the world, from one end to the other!”

Last Monday (January 25, 2010) I received the following email from Chuck Conkling, a dear Christian from North Carolina (USA) that I never personally met, and it was an encouraging confirmation of what the Lord previously said in the above mentioned “Words From Jesus”:

“Hi Renato,
I’ve really enjoyed your “Words from Jesus”. I wrote before to tell you how much I especially enjoyed the “Four Questions“. I wanted you to know that I used them this past Friday in a Bible study I participate in. We are studying Hebrews and my part was “Hebrews 11:30-40: By Faith They Overcame”. While I was preparing the lesson, the Lord wanted me to include your “Four Questions”, so I added them to the end of the lesson for discussion.

I think the questions provided a great transition from the study of the faith of the early saints to the reality of our own faith. I believe everyone was challenged to examine their own faith in light of not only the faith of those who were before us, but in response to the Lord’s questions as He gave them to you. The questions made the discussion instantly personal and challenging. It is one thing to shine light on the faith of those Bible heroes, but those questions from the Lord cause us to shine light on our own faith revealing any weakness.

Thank you for sharing your Words from Jesus. I just wanted you to know they are touching lives here. Blessing to you, Patrizia, and your ministry as the Lord continues to use you.

At the end of the Bible study on Hebrews 11 that he prepared, Chuck wrote the following:

“There is a basic and fundamental issue here, and that’s “faith”! How much do you really “believe that I am, and that I’m a rewarder of them who diligently seek Me” (Hebrews 11.6)?

Are you certain, without the shadow of a doubt, that I’m real, and that I’m ready to answer the cry of those who call upon Me with all of their hearts?

Are you sure, with no uncertainty, that I’m right next to you, when you call upon Me?

Are you definite that I’m the Son of the Living God, the all-powerful One who has performed miracles for My children throughout the ages?

Are you convinced that, not only am I able to do the humanly impossible and that which is beyond what is to be expected, but that I’m right here waiting to do it for you?

If the answer to those questions is “yes”, then you should ask Me to show you what it is that is not working for you. Is it My incapability to answer you? Or My inability to do miracles? Or My incapability to supply all your needs ? Is it My arm that is too short and cannot save? Or is it your incapability to reach out and receive by faith what is rightfully yours, and what I have promised you, not only once, but many times?

Again, if the answer is not My incapability, but yours, ask Me to show you what is making it difficult for you to receive the fulfillment of My promises and to see them transformed into a reality, not only for you, but for your loved ones as well. I promise you that, as you come to Me with each of these questions, I will give you the answers that will satisfy your hungry heart and help you find guidance for your life. I love you.”

Closing Prayer: “Father, I pray that Your Holy Spirit would come upon us so that we may know Your love for us, Your power in us, and Your purpose for us. Amen”
