(Morning Prayer): Lord, I can’t even find the words to pray this morning, so I let my spirit pray and Your Spirit intercede for me, as I come to Your throne of grace to obtain mercy, and as I kneel in Your presence to hear Your whispers and listen to Your voice speaking to my heart! Speak to me, Jesus, and teach me the way to walk, Your servant is here to listen to Your voice. In Your precious Name, I pray. Amen.

While reading over the last reflection I published, “What difference between BC and AD?“, I realized that the answer to that question is simple: it’s like being married!
It’s the difference between living alone as a single, when we are not accountable to anyone of the way we live or what we do, vs. deciding to share our life with the one we love and, therefore, not only thinking of ourselves anymore, but seeking what can make both of us happy! I think this might be a simple but clear answer to anyone …

One thing that always used to puzzle me, even before my own personal life-transforming encounter with the living Son of God, it’s that even unbelievers have to date each day from the approximate appearance of Jesus Christ into the world. What is that most people even unknowingly refer to, when they write today’s date on their documents? They are counting the years since the birth of Jesus Christ, which means that today (May 5, 2011) should be about 2011 years since Jesus was born!
When trying to pinpoint any event in …

While preparing to celebrate Easter, many at this time remember the passion of Christ, putting particular emphasis on the pain and suffering that He experienced before dying on the cross. Although the price was certainly high, and could only be paid by the One who was Whom He claimed to be, it’s important to note that Jesus did it with joy, having His eyes fixed on the end results, not on “the sufferings of this present time that are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed …

Everyone struggles with negative self-talk from time to time. There are times when we get discouraged about ourselves and we look in the “wrong” mirror, noticing all the faults and lacks that we think are impeding the fulfillment of our destiny in life! It’s at times like this that we need to take our eyes off ourselves and place them on the One “Who has called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ …

(Prayer): Thank you, Father, for the time You spent with me this morning! Thank you that, as soon as I wake up, I find You watching over me, speaking to my heart and communing with me in Your Spirit! It’s wonderful for me to pour my heart out to You in the morning, for I know that You listen, and that all I ask You, You will supply it, for You have promised it and cannot deny yourself! Thank You Father, thank You Jesus, thank You Holy Spirit! I love …

(Prayer): I love you Jesus, I love you Father, I love you Holy Spirit. You are one and the same, and yet You live in my heart. Wow! The God of the universe, who created all things, “in heaven, on earth, and under the earth” (Rev. 5:13), is living right here in my heart! I’m made to love You and adore You and to live in Your pleasure, and that’s what I intend to do: to live in Your presence each day of my life.

(Prayer): Jesus, I love you with all of my heart, and I’m sorry for not spending more time listening to Your voice. I know this is what I need most of all, to be led by Your Spirit each day of my life! Please, forgive me! I need You to guide me, as I seek Your face at each step of my way! Lord, I love You, I worship You and I desire to live in Your presence and Spirit, to partake of Your nature each day of my life! …

For those who carry heavy burdens and weights of guilt because of past mistakes made … put them down and walk away from them! Your past is past, and it’s a new day!
“Cast your burden on the Lord, and let Him sustain you” (Psalm 55:22)! “Lay aside every weight and sin which does so easily beset you, and run with patience the race that is set before you, looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith” (Hebrew 12:1,2).
You wonder how to do that? With a simple heartfelt …

“I come to the garden alone, while the dew is still on the roses,

“Dear Lord, You have shown me how much You love me and care for me, no matter how far I go from You at times. Forgive me, when I forget to come to You first in the morning … Please, cleanse my heart and pour upon me the …
