WFJ: Quietness and confidence!

22 July 2009 No Comment

Quietness means slowing down, stopping what you are doing, sitting quietly somewhere, or taking a walk in the park, or in the fields, or along the beach, so that you can come before My presence with praise, the key that opens the gates of Heaven and welcomes you right into My courts, before My throne of grace.

Praise is the key that opens My gates and introduces you into My presence!
Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD: This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter. I will praise you: for you have heard me, and are become my salvation. (Psalms118: 19-21)

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful to him, and bless his name. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endures to all generations. (Psalms 100: 4,5)

Then, once you know that you are in My presence, because praise has brought you to Me, you can present your requests with a humble heart, acknowledging that I know what’s the best for you and I’m able to make “all things work together for your good”! (Romans 8:28)
As you present your requests to Me, you must truly “cast your burden on Me”, knowing that “I will sustain you, and that I will never suffer you to be moved!”(Psalms 55:22)

So don’t walk away from My presence, but take time to be strengthened and encouraged by My loving voice, which tells you: “Fear not; for I am with you: be not dismayed; for I am your God: I will strengthen you; yes, I will help you; yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.” (Isaiah 41:10)

Hearing My voice is vital for you, so that you’re not walking out of My presence, having still your burdens on your shoulders, but having confidence that I’m taking care of each one of them, “for I care for you”! (1 Peter 5:7) This will give you “the peace of God, which passes all understanding”, and “will keep your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:7) This will give you faith and trust!”

“In quietness and in confidence shall be your strength!” (Isaiah 30:15)
